Easy Lite Preloader

I am working on a Divi based website and looking for a decent preloader plugin. I’ve tried a few options in the past, but have thoughly researched them like other plugins. Do you even need a plugin?

My Take

Unfortunately, this plugin just didn’t work with the Divi based website I was building. After I installed it, the preload image appeared, but the unstyled HTML still popped up before the preloader! Maybe this plugin works with non-Divi websites, but that is a deal-breaker for me.

Another issue is that the the optional text doesn’t properly escape quote marks.

I assume this was hastily put together for a specific use case or a project. Not what I would consider production/commercial ready.

Note: If a plugin has less than 1,000 active installs, consider it a warning. Also check when it was last updated. These 2 metrics will give a good sense of the usefulness. The only exception would be for a newly minted plugin.
